Role Summary
An established mechanical fabrication company in Kuwait (Amghara) is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Workshop Manager to oversee workshop operations, ensure quality fabrication, and deliver KOC‑standard projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop operations for stainless steel fabrication and assembly.
- Supervise welders, fabricators, and technicians and assign work to meet production targets.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and coordinate with project and site teams.
- Ensure fabrication meets project specifications and KOC standards.
- Monitor production schedules and drive timely completion of jobs.
- Maintain quality control and enforce safety and PPE compliance.
- Plan workshop resources, tooling, and material requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in stainless steel fabrication workshop management.
- Project Experience: Prior KOC project experience preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding and fabrication processes (TIG, MIG, ARC).
- Skills: Leadership, workshop planning, production control, and strong communication.
- Attributes: Results oriented, quality focused, and safety conscious.
