Job Vacancy: Junior Analyst – Revenue Accounting

A leading company in Kuwait is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Analyst – Revenue Accounting to join its finance and revenue control team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, revenue reconciliation, billing processes, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.

• Monitor the complete revenue cycle from Order to Cash.
• Reconcile revenue data between CRM, billing systems, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Ensure all active services and contracts are correctly billed.
• Perform regular revenue reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
• Conduct gap analysis between operational and financial records.
• Review tariffs and customer contracts to ensure accurate billing configuration.

• Identify potential revenue errors, billing issues, and revenue leakages.
• Investigate discrepancies in financial transactions and revenue data.
• Support fraud prevention and internal control processes.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend long-term corrective solutions.
• Help improve controls and processes to reduce financial risks.

• Perform quality assurance testing for system changes affecting revenue processing.
• Support system and process improvements to reduce errors and processing time.
• Map revenue flows across different business functions.
• Develop monitoring processes for identifying revenue-related issues.
• Work with finance, operations, and technical teams when required.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Junior Analyst or in a similar finance/revenue control position.
• Experience in revenue accounting, revenue assurance, billing, or financial control is preferred.
• Experience in logistics or customs operations is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition.
• Good knowledge of billing cycles and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to investigate financial discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
