Laboratory Technician – Asphalt, Aggregate & Bitumen Testing

A company in Kuwait is hiring experienced Laboratory Technicians with hands-on expertise in asphalt, aggregate, and bitumen testing. Both local and overseas candidates are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, ASTM/AASHTO standards, sample preparation, testing equipment, and technical reporting.

• Perform laboratory tests on asphalt mixtures, aggregates, and bitumen according to ASTM and AASHTO standards.
• Prepare, handle, label, and store samples correctly.
• Maintain proper sample identification, integrity, and traceability.
• Operate laboratory equipment used for asphalt and construction materials testing.
• Carry out routine inspection and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Record and verify laboratory test results accurately.
• Interpret test data and prepare clear technical reports.
• Maintain complete laboratory records and testing documentation.
• Enter and manage test data using laboratory management systems.
• Coordinate with laboratory, quality control, and project teams.
• Ensure all testing activities follow approved procedures and quality standards.

• Proven hands-on experience in asphalt, aggregate, and bitumen laboratory testing.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO testing procedures.
• Experience with construction materials testing and quality control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret test results and prepare technical reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good computer skills for data entry and laboratory management systems.
• Technical Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in asphalt plants, road construction projects, or QA/QC laboratories is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction specifications and testing standards is preferred.
