Hiring Industrial Instrument Technician in Kuwait
A leading oil and gas engineering services contractor is hiring qualified Field Instrument Technicians for a long-term maintenance contract with the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) in Ahmadi.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot electronic, pneumatic, and digital field instruments.
- Calibrate pressure transmitters, differential pressure flowmeters, RTDs, and control valves.
- Execute loop checking and functional testing between field sensors and DCS/PLC systems.
- Maintain comprehensive calibration logs, loop test sheets, and equipment inspection reports.
- Comply strictly with KOC permit-to-work (PTW) rules and hazardous area safety protocols.
Requirements
- 3-Year Diploma in Instrumentation with minimum 5 years experience, or ITI with minimum 10 years experience.
- Proven technical expertise in oil & gas refinery or petrochemical instrument maintenance.
- Familiarity with HART communicators, signal calibrators, and field testing tools.
- Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: 290 KWD per month (270 Basic + 20 Allowance)
