Procurement Specialist – MEP & Building Materials

A company in Salmiya, Kuwait is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with strong knowledge of MEP, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building materials procurement. The successful candidate will handle both local and international sourcing while ensuring materials are purchased at competitive prices and delivered on time.

• Source MEP, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building materials from local and international suppliers.
• Identify new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Request, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and procurement documentation.
• Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and pending materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, project teams, and clients.
• Monitor market prices, product availability, and supplier lead times.
• Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and required quality standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Support project teams by ensuring materials are available according to project schedules.

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in Kuwait.
• Strong knowledge of MEP and building materials.
• Experience in both local and international procurement.
• Good knowledge of Kuwait's local supplier and construction materials market.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
• Excellent communication and supplier-management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and procurement documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and suppliers.
• Valid Kuwait Driving License is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant Kuwait procurement experience are encouraged to apply.
