Job Vacancy: Planning & Estimation Engineer – OK Interiors

OK Interiors – Kuwait is looking for a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Planning & Estimation Engineer to join its team.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in planning, estimation, interior fit-out, or construction, along with strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, project costing, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.

• Review and analyze BOQs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Carefully evaluate project requirements before preparing estimates.
• Verify quantities, materials, measurements, and project costs.
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for project requirements.
• Prepare and review quotations for clients and projects.
• Develop commercial proposals based on project requirements.
• Assist with tender preparation and submission.
• Ensure all BOQ items are evaluated accurately.
• Identify discrepancies or missing information in drawings and tender documents.
• Identify project variations and assess potential cost impacts.
• Prepare detailed project cost estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain accurate estimation records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Support the planning and commercial team with project-related requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in planning, estimation, interior fit-out, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and review.
• Good understanding of quantity take-offs and project estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
