Job Vacancy: Production Manager – Wood Factory / Joinery

A busy and growing wood factory in Kuwait is looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager / Production Head to manage its complete joinery and woodwork production operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing, woodwork, furniture production, shop drawings, materials, hardware, finishes, and factory workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production from approved shop drawings through to completed products ready for delivery and site installation.

• Independently manage and supervise the complete joinery production process.
• Plan and organize daily and weekly production activities according to project requirements and deadlines.
• Coordinate closely with the Drafting, Estimation, Procurement, Factory, Quality Control, and Site Installation teams.
• Study approved shop drawings and ensure production follows drawings and project specifications accurately.
• Manage production of:

  • Kitchens
  • Wall paneling
  • Cabinets
  • Counters
  • Reception desks
  • Furniture
  • Custom joinery items
• Allocate manpower, machinery, materials, and other production resources effectively.

• Identify production problems and provide practical technical solutions.
• Control material wastage and improve overall production efficiency.
• Coordinate with site teams regarding measurements, modifications, and installation requirements.

• Inspect completed items and ensure they are properly checked before delivery and site installation.
• Coordinate factory workflow to minimize delays and maintain production targets.

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or Production Head in a joinery or woodwork factory.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and construction.
• Ability to independently manage multiple joinery projects and production activities.
• Excellent understanding of shop drawings, materials, hardware, finishes, and joinery details.
• Strong knowledge of factory machinery, production methods, and manufacturing workflows.
• Good leadership and team-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
• Experience in interior fit-out and bespoke joinery is highly preferred.
• Strong coordination skills with production, project, drafting, procurement, and site teams.
