Hiring Civil Engineer in Kuwait
Update GCC Engineering & Contracting, a respected construction firm headquartered in the Dasman Complex in Sharq, Kuwait City, is hiring a talented Civil Engineer.
The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.
Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise civil construction works on site, verifying structural execution against approved engineering drawings.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimation sheets for commercial tenders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, MEP engineers, and consultant site inspectors during all construction phases.
- Oversee concrete pouring, structural steel reinforcement inspections, and masonry quality control checks.
- Monitor site construction progress against baseline project schedules and resolve engineering field queries.
- Enforce strict site occupational safety regulations, environmental rules, and QA/QC documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of verified site supervision, estimation, and project coordination experience.
- Indian nationality preferred; currently available inside Kuwait.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction estimation software.
- Transferable residency visa (Article 18).
