Telecom Engineer Jobs in Kuwait
Role Overview

A multinational organization in Kuwait is hiring a Telecom Engineer to support commissioning, integration, and site acceptance for wireless and microwave networks (2G/3G/4G/5G). The role involves field commissioning, quality assurance, documentation, and coordination with vendors and clients. Immediate joiners preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and Integration: Commission Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia 2G/3G/4G/5G radio equipment and MW links.

  • DC Power Systems: Install, patch, and test rectifiers and DC power alarms.

  • RF Testing: Conduct VSWR sweep tests, alarm troubleshooting, and RF acceptance checks.

  • Site Acceptance: Attend PAT and acceptance visits with vendor/operator representatives; prepare PAT folders.

  • Quality Assurance: Check site quality before PAT; prepare and verify installation quality documents (TSSR/FSSR).

  • Documentation: Prepare BOQs, trackers, reports, and site documentation per client requirements.

  • Coordination: Liaise with project managers, implementation teams, and customer engineers to ensure technical performance meets design and implementation standards.

  • Surveys: Perform MW transmission LOS surveys and support OIL clearance activities.

  • Team Support: Supervise and coordinate with field teams to ensure timely, quality delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication or Electrical.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in telecom commissioning and integration.

  • Professional Card: Kuwait Society of Engineering card preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Hands‑on experience with Huawei/Ericsson/Nokia RAN and MW equipment; RF testing tools and procedures; DC power systems; strong documentation skills.

  • Soft Skills: Good communication, coordination, and reporting abilities; ability to work on site and travel across Kuwait.

  • Visa and Availability: Local Kuwait transferable resident Article 18 required; immediate joiners preferred.

  • Nationality Preference: Employer has indicated a preference for Indian or Pakistani nationals. Include this preference in the ad if required, but ensure compliance with local employment and anti‑discrimination regulations before shortlisting.
