Urgent Hiring – Veterinarian Required in Kuwait

A veterinary services/animal healthcare organization in Kuwait City is looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinarian to provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and preventive healthcare for animals.

Job ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
  • Conduct physical examinations and health assessments of animals.
  • Diagnose diseases, illnesses, and injuries.
  • Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
  • Administer vaccinations and preventive healthcare.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgical procedures.
  • Monitor animals during recovery and provide follow-up care.
Animal Care & Welfare
  • Maintain high standards of animal welfare and ethical treatment.
  • Advise pet owners on nutrition, hygiene, behavior, and preventive care.
  • Explain treatment options and related costs to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and updated medical records.
Diagnostic & Laboratory Work
  • Request and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, ultrasound, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Analyze test results and determine appropriate treatment.
  • Coordinate with laboratory staff and specialists when required.
Operational & Emergency Duties
  • Maintain and properly use veterinary equipment.
  • Follow clinic hygiene, safety, and infection-control procedures.
  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory and controlled medications.
  • Provide emergency medical and surgical care when required.
  • Respond promptly to critical animal health cases.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree.
  • Valid veterinary license/registration as required by the relevant authorities.
  • 2–5 years of veterinary clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience with small animals, large animals, or mixed practice.
  • Surgical and emergency case experience is an advantage.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Good knowledge of animal diseases, medications, and preventive healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and record-keeping skills.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position.
  • 10–12 hours per day.
  • May require evening, weekend, or on-call duties.
  • Work may involve animals of different sizes and temperaments.
  • Strict safety and hygiene procedures must be followed.
Salary & Benefits
  • Basic Salary: KWD 150 per month.
  • Commission: 1%.
  • Paid Leave: 30 days per year.
  • Accommodation: Provided by the company.
  • Transportation: Provided by the company.
