Role Summary
A fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) company in Kuwait is hiring a Junior Accountant for day‑to‑day accounting support. Immediate joiners with Article 18 (transferable) visa preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping and post journal entries.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices and payment follow‑ups.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with petty cash management.
- Support month‑end close activities and basic financial reporting.
- Assist with inventory accounting and coordinate with operations for stock records.
- Prepare routine accounting schedules and support audits when required.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years preferred; FMCG or trading company background is an advantage.
- Visa: Article 18 (transferable) Kuwait visa required.
- Availability: Immediate joining preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Compensation and Conditions
- Salary: KD 250 per month.
- Employment Terms: As per company policy and Kuwait labour law.
