Hiring – Application Support Specialist with SQL Server Expertise
A company in Kuwait City is looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist with strong SQL Server knowledge and a good understanding of Payroll and HRMS applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business applications, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining databases, and coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth system operations.
Job Responsibilities- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures and database functions.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot SQL-related issues.
- Provide technical support for Payroll and HRMS applications.
- Assist with payroll-related system processes and troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve application errors and technical issues.
- Coordinate with users and internal departments to understand system problems.
- Perform application testing and support system updates when required.
- Maintain accurate system and technical documentation.
- Provide user guidance and training when required.
- Support smooth and uninterrupted operation of critical business applications.
- Identify recurring technical issues and assist in implementing long-term solutions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server.
- Good working knowledge of PHP and HTML.
- Prior experience in Application Support is required.
- Familiarity with Payroll Systems and HRMS applications.
- Good understanding of payroll processes.
- Knowledge of Kuwait Labour Law is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to work with different departments and end users.
- Awareness of modern technologies and current software development environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
