Role Summary
A leading oil and gas company in Kuwait urgently requires a System Administrator to manage and secure the company’s IT infrastructure, virtual environments, and Microsoft cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage virtual server environments (VMware, Nutanix).
• Administer Microsoft Azure IaaS and security configurations.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Active Directory).
• Implement and monitor endpoint cyber security fundamentals.
• Perform network administration tasks and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Support system backups, disaster recovery, and patch management.
• Collaborate with IT teams on deployments, upgrades, and incident response.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and change logs.
Qualifications and Technical Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong experience with VMware and Nutanix virtual environments.
• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS & security).
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 services.
• Familiarity with endpoint security, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
• Solid network administration skills (routing, switching, VLANs).
• Software development experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Transferable visa and immediate availability preferred.
