Hiring Junior Accountant & Document Controller in Kuwait

A well-established commercial firm located in the business center of Kuwait is urgently seeking a detail-oriented, diligent, and competent Junior Accountant & Document Controller to join its finance department in Sharq, Kuwait City.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain daily book entries, general ledger postings, and accounts payable/receivable documentation.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and payment authorizations.
• Perform bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and monthly ledger balancing.
• Organize, index, and archive commercial contracts, government permits, and company financial documents.
• Prepare draft financial statements, trial balances, and expense variance reports for senior auditors.
• Manage electronic document filing structures to allow rapid retrieval of corporate records.
• Support administrative tasks and assist external auditors during annual financial audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Financial Management.
• 1-3 Years of accounting and document controller experience in Kuwait or GCC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting ERP packages.
• High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and confidential document handling.
• Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
• Local hire with immediate joining availability.

Salary & Benefits
