Hiring Procurement & Inventory Control Officer in Kuwait

A prominent commercial trading and apparel manufacturing company in Kuwait is urgently seeking an analytical, proactive, and competent Procurement & Inventory Control Officer to join its team in Sulaibiya, Kuwait.

The ideal candidate should have verified GCC or local Kuwait working experience, strong professional discipline, and the ability to execute day-to-day responsibilities with high accuracy.

Applicants must hold valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18 or 22) and be available for immediate or near-term joining.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle from material requirement planning to purchase order release and delivery.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers for fabrics, threads, trims, and accessories.
• Establish and monitor safety stock levels, reorder points, economic order quantities (EOQ), and lead times in the ERP.
• Supervise tailoring workshop job orders, monitoring daily production schedules and on-time task completions.
• Inspect arriving raw materials for quality compliance, yarn counts, fabric weights, and color fastness.
• Prepare comprehensive stock aging reports, identifying slow-moving and excess inventory for management review.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and finance departments to align procurement forecasts with customer demand.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Administration.
• 3-5 Years of verified procurement and inventory management experience (textile or trading industry preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise ERP inventory systems.
• Strong commercial negotiation, vendor appraisal, and analytical forecasting abilities.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Valid Kuwait residency with transferable visa status (Article 18).
