• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment.
• Service and maintain heavy commercial kitchen machinery.
• Maintain equipment such as:
  • Commercial ovens
  • Deep fryers
  • Griddles
  • Walk-in coolers
  • Freezers
  • Dishwashers
  • Ice makers
• Diagnose equipment problems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, especially during busy restaurant hours.
• Minimize equipment downtime and help ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations.
• Carry out regular servicing to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

• Identify the cause of equipment failures and technical problems.
• Perform emergency repairs when required.
• Handle basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
• Ensure repaired equipment is operating safely before returning it to service.
• Report major technical issues that require specialist or vendor support.

• Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance spare parts and supplies.
• Monitor frequently used replacement parts and maintenance materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers when specialized repairs are required.
• Assist with warranty-related service and repair requirements.
• Keep management informed about equipment condition and maintenance needs.

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician is preferred.
• Practical experience maintaining commercial restaurant or kitchen equipment is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Hands-on approach to equipment repair and maintenance.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during restaurant operations.
