A growing organization in Kuwait is seeking a skilled Network Administrator / Network Engineer to manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure.
Role Summary
Design, deploy, and maintain secure, reliable network systems; troubleshoot network issues; administer firewalls and Windows servers; and support IT operations to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Network administration: Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, and wireless networks.
- Firewall management: Install, configure, and manage FortiGate firewalls and security policies.
- Server support: Administer Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
- Monitoring & troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, diagnose faults, and resolve incidents.
- Security & backups: Implement network security best practices, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and SOPs.
- Support: Provide 2nd/3rd line support and coordinate with vendors for escalations and upgrades.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech or Postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electronics.
- Certifications: CCNP (required) or equivalent professional networking certification.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands‑on networking experience.
- Technical: Strong experience with FortiGate firewalls and Windows Server administration.
- Other: Good problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
- Visa: Transferable residency preferred.
