Role Summary
A reputable construction contractor in Shuwaikh, Kuwait is urgently hiring an Accountant – Construction with 5 years’ experience to manage project accounting, costing, billing, and month‑end financial close. ACCA qualified candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Project cost control: monitor project costs, prepare WIP and progress reports.
• Billing and collections: prepare progress billings, retention schedules, and follow up on payments.
• Subcontractor payments: review and process subcontractor invoices and payments.
• BOQ and costing: prepare BOQ‑based pricing, cost build‑ups, and variance analysis.
• Financial reporting: prepare monthly financial statements, cash‑flow forecasts, and supporting schedules.
• Coordination: liaise with project managers and site teams to validate costs and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 5 years accounting experience, including construction or contracting.
• Qualification: ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Technical skills: Strong project costing, progress billing, retention, WIP reporting, and BOQ experience.
• Systems: Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Language: Bilingual Arabic and English required.
• Other: Valid driver’s license and Visa 18 Ahli; ready to join immediately.
Offer and Work Conditions
• Salary: 550 – 650 KWD (depending on experience).
• Location: Shuwaikh, Kuwait.
• Employment: Full‑time, on‑site role with project coordination duties.

• Copy of Visa 18 and Civil ID showing transferable status.
