Role Summary
Hiring an Entry Level HSE / Safety Officer to support site and office safety programs. The officer will report to the HSE Manager and help implement, monitor, and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a safe working environment and ensure regulatory compliance in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct daily safety inspections on site and office areas.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait safety regulations and local laws.
• Maintain records of incidents, near misses, inspections, and audits.
• Support internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks for employees.
• Monitor environmental aspects including emissions, effluents, and hazards.
• Assist the HSE Manager with reporting, risk assessments, and safety initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Experience: 0–1 year as an HSE officer or internship experience in HSE.
• Certifications: Valid HSE certification NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA is mandatory.
• Skills: Strong MS Office skills and ability to prepare clear reports.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Kuwait labor law and HSE regulations.
• Attributes: Detail oriented, proactive, good communicator, and able to work on site.
