Role Summary
An industrial contractor in Kuwait is urgently seeking a QA QC Engineer with strong welding and piping inspection experience to support project quality management and inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement Quality Management System requirements and support QMS activities.
• Prepare procedures and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for welding and piping scopes.
• Conduct incoming material inspections and verify material certificates.
• Review technical documents against client specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure inspections are carried out as per approved ITPs and maintain inspection discipline.
• Maintain quality documentation and compile complete Inspection Test Packages (ITPs).
• Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and site teams to resolve nonconformities and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Education: BE Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years industrial experience; minimum 4 years inspection experience in welding and piping.
• Approvals: KSE Approval is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards relevant to welding and piping.
• Skills: Proficient in preparing procedures, ITPs, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Attributes: Detail oriented, good communicator, able to work on site and meet project timelines.
