Role Summary
A leading company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Oil & Gas Division. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead projects from bid preparation through execution. Immediate joiners preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and engineering support across all project phases.
- Assist with bid preparation, tender submissions, and client coordination.
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor offers (technical & commercial).
- Oversee engineering, procurement, contracting, and site coordination to ensure timely and cost‑effective project delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties for smooth execution.
- Develop competitive technical proposals aligned with client requirements.
- Conduct market research to support strategic planning.
- Manage project documentation including plans, reports, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with upstream Oil & Gas standards and procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office; Arabic fluency is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret and develop BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs.
- Solid understanding of project management, cost estimation, tendering, and bidding.
- Skilled in proposal writing, contract evaluation, compliance, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Valid Kuwait driving license preferred.
- Immediate availability is an advantage.
