3PL Logistics (Urgent)
We are urgently hiring an IT Operations Executive to support IT systems across our 3PL warehousing and logistics facility in Shuwaikh.
Role Summary
Manage and support the company’s logistics IT ecosystem, including e-commerce platforms, WMS, servers, networks, and end-user support. Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Application and Platform Management: Support Shopify, WooCommerce (multi-tenant), UPayment integrations; handle client requests, testing, and issue resolution; coordinate with developers and vendors.
• WMS and Logistics Systems: Support and troubleshoot Warehouse Management System; assist operations with user issues, configurations, and reporting; manage system changes for inbound/outbound and inventory.
• Server and Infrastructure: Monitor hosted applications, server performance, backups, and basic security; coordinate with hosting providers.
• Network and Hardware Support: Maintain LAN/WAN, switches, routers, printers, scanners, and warehouse IT equipment; troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Access and Security: Manage user roles and access control across systems; enforce IT access governance for employees and clients.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as IT point of contact for projects, vendors, and partners; translate business requirements into technical actions.
Required Skills and Experience
• Experience: 3–6 years in IT support, systems, or operations.
• Platforms: Hands-on experience with Shopify and WooCommerce.
• WMS/ERP: Experience supporting WMS or ERP systems preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, networking (LAN/WAN), APIs, and application testing.
• Attributes: Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, documentation, and vendor coordination skills.
• Environment: Experience in warehouse, logistics, or 3PL environments is a plus.
Soft Skills and Preferences
• Communication: Clear stakeholder communication and reporting.
• Mindset: Problem-solving, independent working, and ability to support both office and warehouse teams.
