Position
Site Surveyor / Land Surveyor
Location
Kuwait — Candidates must be currently in Kuwait with valid residency
Role Summary
Urgently required Site Surveyor to support civil construction projects by providing accurate site measurements, setting out works, and preparing as‑built surveys for buildings and infrastructure. The role involves fieldwork with survey instruments and close coordination with site engineers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic and layout surveys for structures, utilities, earthworks, and foundations.
- Set out control points, benchmarks, and levels for excavation, formwork, and structural elements.
- Prepare and maintain survey records, maps, sketches, and as‑built drawings.
- Check drawings against site conditions and report discrepancies to the site engineer/project manager.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure works follow approved drawings and coordinates.
- Operate and maintain total station, GPS, auto level, and related survey equipment; ensure proper calibration.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site standards during surveying activities.
Requirements
- Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a Site/Land Surveyor on civil construction projects.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with Total Station, GPS, Auto Level; basic CAD skills (AutoCAD / Civil 3D).
- Drawing literacy: Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work independently on site.
- Residency: Must be available in Kuwait with valid residency.
- Nationality preference: Indian preferred (open to other qualified candidates).
