Job Vacancy: Production Manager – Food Manufacturing | FARMAFOOD Kuwait

FARMAFOOD in Kuwait is looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead and manage complete production operations within the food manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in food production, production planning, team management, food safety, GMP, ISO, quality control, and continuous improvement.

• Plan, lead, and control daily production operations to achieve production targets and timely delivery.
• Manage, motivate, and develop production staff, including operators, production assistants, and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, food safety standards, SOPs, and company quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality, R&D, Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, and other departments.
• Monitor production KPIs, productivity, waste, downtime, and resource utilization.
• Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions and continuous improvement measures.
• Ensure sufficient availability of raw materials, recipes, manpower, machinery, and other production resources.
• Coordinate machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and production-line requirements.
• Monitor finished products and production records for quantity and quality compliance.
• Ensure finished products are properly transferred to the warehouse.
• Support new product development, production trials, process improvements, and production scale-up.
• Control production costs and reduce material, manpower, and equipment waste.
• Conduct team meetings, assign responsibilities, and provide coaching and training.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient production environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of total professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Production Manager or in a similar management role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or Food & Beverage.
• Strong practical knowledge of food production operations.
• Good understanding of GMP, ISO, SOPs, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in production planning, KPI management, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of production machinery, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and waste reduction.
• Strong understanding of production cost control and resource utilization.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/software applications.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Salary: KWD 700–1,200 per month.
• Salary depends on experience and qualifications.

• Working hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
