A busy and growing wood and joinery factory in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Production Manager to take responsibility for the complete joinery production process.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in joinery production, woodwork manufacturing, shop drawings, factory operations, manpower management, quality control, and project coordination.

The successful candidate will be expected to independently manage production from approved shop drawings through manufacturing, quality checking, completion, delivery, and site installation.

• Independently manage and supervise the complete joinery production process.
• Plan and organize daily and weekly factory production activities.
• Schedule production according to project requirements and deadlines.
• Study approved shop drawings and ensure manufacturing follows drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Drafting, Estimation, Procurement, Factory, Quality Control, and Site Installation teams.
• Manage production of:
  • Doors
  • Wardrobes
  • Kitchens
  • Wall paneling
  • Cabinets
  • Counters
  • Reception desks
  • Furniture
  • Custom joinery items
• Allocate manpower, machinery, materials, and other production resources efficiently.
• Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed on schedule.
• Check dimensions, materials, hardware, finishes, and construction quality.
• Identify production problems and provide practical technical solutions.
• Control material wastage and improve overall factory efficiency.
• Coordinate with site teams regarding measurements, modifications, and installation requirements.
• Maintain accurate production schedules and provide regular progress reports to management.
• Ensure finished products are properly inspected before delivery.
• Coordinate with the installation team to ensure completed items are ready for site installation.
• Take full responsibility for meeting production quality and project deadlines.

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Production Head, or similar senior production role in a joinery or woodwork factory.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and woodwork construction.
• Ability to independently manage multiple joinery projects and production activities.
• Excellent understanding of shop drawings, materials, hardware, finishes, and joinery details.
• Strong knowledge of factory machinery, production methods, and workflow.
• Experience managing factory manpower and production resources.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
• Experience in interior fit-out and bespoke/custom joinery is highly preferred.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to take responsibility for complete factory production operations.
