Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
• Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Perform regular updates and patches to maintain security and performance.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Troubleshoot and resolve server and network issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect infrastructure.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Respond to security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies; perform regular backups and test recovery processes.
• Provide technical support to end‑users and IT staff.
• Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in IT projects including upgrades and migrations.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security status.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in server and network administration.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, networking, firewalls, and backup solutions.
• Security: Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols, audits, and incident response.
• Attributes: Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
