Role Summary
A reputable employer is hiring a Chief Accountant / Senior Accountant for immediate joining. Candidates with healthcare accounting experience are highly desirable. Salary will be based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• General Ledger: Oversee GL maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Month End Close: Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes and ensure timely reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff; review their work and assign tasks.
• Audit Support: Coordinate external and internal audits and provide required documentation.
• Process Improvement: Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant; healthcare sector experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting standards, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
• Attributes: Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and excellent communication.
• Availability: Immediate joining preferred.
