Landscape Maintenance Engineer

A company in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Engineer to manage landscaping maintenance teams and residential villa gardens. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of horticulture, plant health, irrigation, landscaping maintenance, and client management.

• Manage 2–4 landscaping maintenance teams responsible for approximately 50 residential villas.
• Supervise teams consisting of supervisors and landscaping laborers.
• Follow up on client requests and garden maintenance requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with residential clients.
• Listen to client suggestions and coordinate necessary amendments.
• Report positive and negative customer feedback to the Head of Department.
• Ensure gardens are maintained according to approved landscape designs.
• Develop and suggest improved methods for handling maintenance requests.
• Monitor irrigation systems and report any irrigation problems.
• Identify plant diseases, damages, overwatering, and underwatering issues.
• Monitor plant health and identify plants that may not survive local conditions.
• Take preventive action to reduce plant replacement and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and ensure work is completed properly.
• Prepare reports and maintain necessary maintenance records.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or Agriculture required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in landscaping maintenance.
• Experience managing landscaping maintenance teams and residential clients.
• Gulf experience is required/preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plants, plant diseases, irrigation, and garden maintenance.
• Good understanding of landscaping design and maintenance practices.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
• Fluent English communication skills required.
• Arabic language knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid Kuwait driving license required, as a company car will be provided.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
