Planning Engineer – Electrical | KOC Projects

A company in Ahmadi, Kuwait is urgently looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to support EPC and KOC projects.

Candidates with strong experience in Primavera P6, project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and KOC projects are encouraged to apply.

Electrical Engineering background is mandatory.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Plan and monitor project activities according to approved schedules.
• Track project progress and identify delays or potential schedule issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project milestones, activities, and critical paths.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and project teams.
• Prepare manpower and resource planning reports.
• Monitor project performance against planned schedules.
• Analyze schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Support project teams in maintaining planned completion dates.
• Prepare progress updates and management reports.
• Coordinate planning activities for EPC and KOC projects.
• Maintain accurate project planning and scheduling documentation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE Electrical) is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• KOC project experience is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Experience with EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Progress monitoring
  • Resource planning
  • Project scheduling
  • Schedule tracking
  • Progress reporting
  • Delay monitoring
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Immediate joining preferred.
• Candidates currently residing in Kuwait are preferred.
